AGENCY GENERAL INFORMATION

The mission of the Real Estate Commission and the Certified Real Estate Appraiser Board is to assist and protect consumers of real estate services and foster economic growth in Wyoming. The Commission and Board endeavor to support the availability of capable and honest real estate service providers through educational programs, licensing protocols, and the enforcement of governing statute. 

Neither the Commission nor the Board receives general fund appropriations but must operate solely on fees collected from licensees.

REAL ESTATE REQUIRED COURSE OUTLINES 2021

Per administrative rules, Chapter 4, the Wyoming Real Estate Commission releases the following course outlines to any education provider desiring to deliver Required Courses for the 2021 calendar year.

Proposals are due by July 1, 2020 and all course proposals must include an course form and course outline/timed agenda.




APPRAISER BOARD RULE CHANGES 2020

Notice is hereby given, per W.S. 16-3-101, that the Wyoming Certified Real Estate Appraiser Board intends to amend Chapter 1 and Chapter 4 of administrative rules for Wyoming Certified General Appraisers, Certified Residential Appraisers, Certified Appraiser Trainees, and registered Appraisal Management Companies.

The official Notice of Intent, Statement of Reasons and drafts of proposed rule changes can be viewed at the office of the Wyoming Certified Real Estate Appraiser Board during regular business hours or can be viewed/ downloaded below.

The public comment period shall be from January 13, 2020 through March 2, 2020.  Interested persons may submit written comments to the Wyoming Certified Real Estate Appraiser Board at: 2617 E. Lincolnway, Suite H, Cheyenne, Wyoming 82002-0180 or via email at:

rec-appraiserboard@wyo.gov 

A public hearing shall be scheduled on the rules if requested, pursuant to W.S. 16-3-103(a)(ii).  For questions, please call 307-777-7141.

Expired 2019 licenses may still be renewed and activated until March 1.  
You may renew your license online via the links below. 
Be advised that due to high volume, there is a backlog of renewals.  
We are processing license renewals as quickly as possible and you will be emailed your renewed license as soon as possible.
